Portuguese artist Alexandre Farto — known as Vhils — has completed what’s believed to be the world’s largest mural.

Located in Catania, Sicily, the piece covers eight grain silos and is as wide as a football pitch.

It aims to highlight the island’s role as one of the main crossroads for a multitude of cultures and nationalities passing through the Mediterranean region over the centuries.
