Deaths on Everest's summit blamed on commercialisation of expedition
Yet another climber has died on Mount Everest, bringing the total deaths on the mountain to 13 in 2019 alone. Overcrowding has been reported near the summit and mountaineers suggest that the growing commercialisation of expeditions, the lack of experience and bad weather contribute to the problem.

Cyclone Fani: Huge evacuation as storm makes landfall in India
A tropical cyclone has made landfall in eastern India today. A massive operation to evacuate more than a million people to safety from low-lying areas in Orissa state had been put in place. According to the authorities, cyclone shelters are being set up and major ports are being shut down.

NASA condemns India for destroying a satellite and placing ISS at risk
NASA chief Jim Bridenstine said India has put the future of human space flight at risk after they successfully tested shooting down a satellite with a missile. 60 objects from the debris are 10 cm or bigger, making them large enough to track, 24 of which have gone above the apogee of the ISS.
