A robber was killed but others escaped with ‘millions of euros’ stolen as the money was being loaded onto an Austrian Airlines flight.
The three armed suspects were not expecting this.
One man was arrested following a robbery at a jewellery shop in central London on Tuesday, the Metropolitan Police said.
He was resourceful enough to arm himself with a loaded revolver but Jason Keogh, who stole a cash box in Enfield, skimped on the mask, using a pair of underpants instead. He has been jailed for seven years and two months.
The five men stole jewellery with an estimated value of 4.5 million euros. Three were arrested nearby.
