The European Voluntary Service (EVS) enables young people to go abroad to provide unpaid service for a maximum of one year.
The scheme is open to young people 18-30 years old (and to disadvantaged young people 16-30).
Volunteers benefit from specific training, they receive board and lodging, insurance cover and a allowance for the duration of the project.
