At least three people have died and ten have been wounded in an explosion during a peace march in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv.
According to police an explosive device was thrown from a moving car into a crowd attending the rally.
One policeman and a pro-European activist were reported among the fatalities and the interior ministry are treating it as a ‘terrorist act’.

The rally was being held to support Kyiv against the pro-Russian rebels who have taken control of arts of east Ukraine.
It came as the country marked the one year anniversary of the popular uprising which ousted pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych. A similar ‘dignity march’ was being held in Kyiv, which honoured the memory of the ‘heavenly hundred’ who lost their lives amid sniper fire in the protests last year.
