Rescuers tried to pull injured people from under the rubble of a destroyed building after the central Ukrainian city of Cherkasy was hit by a Russian missile strike on Thursday.
The strike was part of a massive wave of Russian attacks on at least six cities across Ukraine.
It cames after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy delivered a speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
