<p>This team of robots could be the first to be deployed to a disaster scene in Europe.</p> <p>Equipped with laser scanners, cameras and sensors, they can assess the risks and help rescuers by providing digital maps of the site.</p> <p>European scientists used them in real-life conditions after the Amatrice earthquake in central Italy – they assisted in the creation of 3D textured models of two damaged churches.</p>
