In this edition of State of the Union: EU leaders gather in Salzburg to tackle two of the biggest challenges facing the bloc right now: Brexit and migration. Sitting down for dinner with the other 27, British Prime Minister Theresa May failed to convince them that her Brexit Chequers proposals are the way forward. On migration, member states remain at odds on the way forward, but do agree that working closely with Africa is a good option. And, Sesame Street producers announce Bert and Ernie are not gay, something that’s been stoking lots of chat on social media.
