Migrants put their lives on the line trying to get from Turkey to Greece, crossing by boat to the Greek city of Alexandropouli, Greece, or crossing the Evros river on the border to make it to Europe. Euronews correspondents Fay Doulgkeri and Bryan Carter report.
"We know where they are drowning and we are not helping at all. We're even stopping people who want to help and this is something I don't want to see in the European Union," the Green candidate for the EU's top job told Euronews.
