He told euronews’ Gregoire Lory that Emmanuel Macron is looking “to build confidence” amongst France’s European partners and that his pro-reform, pro-free trade agenda was being welcomed by Brussels.
But de Marcilly warned that a divided National Assembly could make it tricky for Macron to deliver on his domestic policies.
