As Europe grapples with a controversial plan to reform its data protection laws, there is growing debate about privacy on the web and whether or not it is too late to police bad practices. As millions of people connect to the internet every minute of the day, revealing an increasing amount about themselves, user groups and officials are struggling to keep up with the rapidly changing technology and systems that are being used to access and use personal data. Right On reporter Seamus Kearney spoke about some of the issues with three young men in Copenhagen, where discussion about internet privacy is typical of the debate taking place right across Europe.
