For miniaturists, it’s an appreciation that has long run through their fingertips. Artists began working on miniature objects and paintings in the early 16th century. This type of art received more and more attention as genres evolved and blossomed across various mediums. Despite the tiny works’ long history, artists are still finding new ways to show off their creativity. Some even construct, with unusual materials, sculptures that rise to only 2 millimetres.
