A total of 35 memoranda of understanding spanning trade, innovation and other areas were signed, hoping to advance strategic cooperation between Hong Kong and Qatar.

As Hong Kong continues its trade mission across the Middle East, it is sending a message of strategic partnership to strengthen trade in a volatile world to Qatar and other Gulf nations.
Led by the chief executive of the Hong Kong special administrative region John Lee, the territory aims to boost its €1.8 billion trade volume with Qatar.
On Monday, it signed 35 memoranda of understanding in a significant step toward strengthening bilateral relations.
The deal spans several sectors, including construction, technology, aviation, the legal sector and travel.
"Hong Kong is dedicated to capitalising on its connectivity with both mainland China and the world," says Lee.
"Enthusiasm is very strong, and I will say that there will be more exchanges between not just government but in the private sector."
Lee also announced reciprocal visa-free access between Hong Kong and Qatar with immediate effect.
As the world looks to Asia for steady growth, economic stability, and investment opportunities, Hong Kong is seeking partnerships to inject fresh momentum into its robust economy.
