The fatal shooting of Chinese man at his home has sparked violent protests in Paris.
More than 100 people from the capital’s large Chinese community confronted riot police, throwing bottles and setting fire to vehicles.
Officials said 35 people are being questioned following the street protests.
The clashes were triggered by the death of a Chinese man, shot dead at his Paris home by police responding to an incident.

Police say they the man was trying to attack an officer with scissors when he was shot.
The man’s family deny he attempted to assault the officer, and claim he was holding scissors because he had been cutting fish.
The authorities have opened an investigation.
Meanwhile, China has summoned a French diplomat to its embassy in Paris to explain the incident.
Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said:“We will continue to follow the development of this case together with our embassy in France and ensure the safety and legitimate right and interest of Chinese citizens and institutions in France.
“Meanwhile, we hope the Chinese nationals in France can express their wishes and demands in a reasonable and lawful way.”
The Chinese community protested in Paris last year over claims of police brutality.
