Palestinians have marked the 23rd anniversary of the Hebron mosque massacre by calling for the reopening of the street on which it stands in the city.

Palestinians and foreign activists have gathered to mark the 23rd anniversary of the closure of Shuhada street in the West Bank city of Hebron. They used the occasion to protest against US President Donald Trump, claiming he did not see them as equals, and throwing shoes at his portrait.

The street was closed after a Jewish extremist killed 29 Palestinians while they were preying in the Al Ibrahimi mosque in 1994.
