Russia: Gas row sparks clashes between riot police and Roma

Russian riot police clashed with residents of a Roma settlement on Thursday in a row over access to gas.

The confrontation follows reports of damage to a pipeline and a loss of supplies to a village outside the city of Tula after members of the Roma community illegally hooked up to the gas supply.
