US panel backs female libido drug with conditions

A drug to treat low female sexual desire should be approved under strict conditions, according to an influential panel in the US.

The advisers to the US Food and Drug Administration said there should be a rigorous risk management programme to accompany the drug, which has twice been rejected by the FDA.
