Pope Leo XIV held a mass in Malabo, marking the end of his 11-day Africa tour.

Pope Leo XIV concluded his first major international trip with an open-air mass in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, on Thursday.

The 11-day tour took the pontiff across four African countries, where he delivered messages on social justice, peace and human dignity.

During the visit, he also addressed political and humanitarian issues, including inequality and prison conditions.

The trip, which covered thousands of kilometres, highlighted his active role as head of the Catholic Church.
