Jannik Sinner defeated Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets to claim the ATP Finals title, adding another chapter to the sport’s leading rivalry in 2025.

Jannik Sinner won the final chapter of the “Sincaraz” rivalry for 2025, beating world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz 7-6 (4), 7-5 to lift the ATP Finals trophy on Sunday.

The victory marked only Sinner’s second win over Alcaraz this year, following his triumph in the Wimbledon final, and came in front of home fans in Italy.

Alcaraz, who had already secured the year-end No. 1 ranking, was playing his first ATP Finals championship match.

Despite the loss, he still leads their career series 10-6, with the pair contesting the last three Grand Slam finals and splitting the season’s majors two each.
