Borussia Dortmund show courage in Monaco match

Borussia Dortmund may be forgiven for losing their Champions League quarter-final first leg against Monaco after a bomb attack on the team bus 24 hours earlier.

They were beaten, but it was gripping, Monaco took a 2-0 lead thanks to Teenager Kylian Mbappe’s opener followed by an own goal by Sven Bender.

Dembele got one back for the home side, only to see Mbappe score again for Monaco.

Former Man United player Shinji Kagawa scored an excellent second for the home side.

Still Monaco take three away goals home.

For a second leg with still plenty to play for.

Borussia Dortmund 2-3 Monaco.
