Apple revealed a variety of new products including its three new iPhones and watch at an event on Wednesday at its headquarters in Cupertino, California.

So what are the new products Apple is releasing?

The new Apple watch series 4 has screens that are 30% larger than the previous version, said Chief Operating Officer Jeff Williams. The new watches would cost $399 (€343) for the normal version or $499 (€429) for the model with cellular service.

The new watch also has revamped health features that put Apple at the top of its health game.

The watch will allow users to take an electrocardiogram that measures heart rhythms and detect irregularities in the heart rate. It also determines when a user has fallen or slipped and calls emergency services if the person has been motionless for one minute.

iPhone Xs: the latest iPhone revealed

Water resistant and a 14.7 centimetre OLED screen — those are the key features of the new iPhone Xs (pronounced "ten-es"), Apple’s head of marketing Phil Schiller unveiled.

What else does the new iPhone offer?

A new processor for faster performance, storage space of up to 512 GB, improved display for better colour representation, and a gold finish in the front and back are also key features of Apple’s newest handset.

What about the other two?

The largest iPhone to date — iPhone Xs Max with a 16.5-centimetre OLED screen also made its grand debut.

Both the Xs and Xs Max models are equipped with a TrueDepth camera for FaceID and a camera in the front and the back.

“iPhone Xs is not one, but two new iPhone models and iPhone Xs Max offers the biggest display ever in an iPhone with the biggest battery ever in an iPhone, delivering up to an hour and a half more battery life in your day,” said Schiller.

The iPhone XR was also introduced at the event. The bright, multicoloured phone made from aluminium glass and with an edge-to-edge screen, is the smaller newest iPhone.

The XR has the same chip as the iPhone Xs and the front camera is also the same. However, it has only one camera and doesn't come with a telephoto lens. This model also doesn't have 3D Touch.

The Xs and the Xs Max will be available for pre-order on Friday. Prices start at $999 (€859 for the smaller version) and $1,099 (€945 for the bigger version). The XR will be available on October 26 and costs $749 (€644)
