The UK is on high alert since two recent deadly terror attacks – one at Manchester Arena when a suicide bomber blew himself up at an Ariana Grande concert last month, killing 22 people and injuring more than 100 others.
On June 3, a van ploughed into people on London Bridge and three assailants attacked and fatally stabbed several people at nearby Borough Market.
