Police in Florida have confirmed that two people have been killed in a shooting at a nightclub in Fort Myers. Up to 16 people are injured and some of those are said to be in a life-threatening condition.
It happened as the club hosted a “teen night” according to local media.
Three people have been detained in connection with the shooting, while investigators seek to establish a motive for the attack.
It comes six weeks after 49 people were killed in Orlando in the deadliest mass shooting in US history.
