Swiss adventurer Yves Rossy has completed a flight near the iconic Japanese landmark, Mount Fuji, in his custom-built jet suit, his first such flight in Asia.
Rossy, also known as “Jetman” performed his stunt on the carbon-Kevlar jetwing with four engines celebrating Mount Fuji’s designation as a world heritage site.
A total of nine flights took place from October 28th to November 3rd.
Rossy is able to propel himself through the sky at upwards of 190 miles per hour (306 kilometres per hour), controlling his jet suit with a throttle in his hand.
