Sweden’s Artemis Racing will face Emirates Team New Zealand in the America’s Cup Challenger showdown after knocking out Softbank Team Japan in their semi-final.
The race was a tight nail-biting contest that turned on a tactical mistake by the Japanese vessel’s skipper Dean Barker. He was forced to a standstill when he tried to get past them in the middle of their head-to-head encounter.
It gave the Swede’s a 5-3 win in the series.
