Israeli police say it was a ‘deliberate attack’ on a popular promenade overlooking the walled Old City of Jerusalem.

A bus driver who witnessed the events said on Israel Radio that the truck hit a group of soldiers, then the driver of the vehicle was fired upon. He then reversed over the soldiers. Local TV stations said the driver was killed, and footage showed bullet holes in the truck’s windscreen.
