Massive child porn ring uncovered in Spain

Spanish police have arrested 56 men accused of possessing and distributing pornographic photos and videos of children.

The Interior Ministry says the men all live in Spain and are aged between 40
and 60 years old.

The allegations

They allegedly used an online file-sharing ring to disseminate pornographic material featuring the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors.

Massive operation

The 18-month police operation stretched across the entire country.

Hundreds of computers, hard drives and DVDs were found, containing an undisclosed number of files featuring extreme sexual violence against boys and girls, officials say.
