Smart Regions speaks to the leader of one Catalan city saving large amounts of energy thanks to a transformational European project.
The Catalan city of Viladecans is saving a lot of energy. It’s thanks to a European project called Vilawatt that allows residents to actively manage the electricity they use. It also rewards them with digital currency when they make savings. Smart Region's spoke to the city’s Deputy-Mayor Jordi Mazon, who explained the philosophy behind the project.
