British inventor Richard Browning this week tested his jetpack suit over open water for the first time.
The former Royal Marines reservist conducted his test off the coast of Portsmouth, in southwestern England, and took off from the HMS Dasher patrol boat.
The suit was designed by Browning's company, Gravity Industries, and can fly up to 10 minutes and has a maximum speed of 32 miles per hour (51.5 kilometres per hour).
