From a boy with a dream to an Airbus First Officer, Temirlan Zhunussov’s journey is all about reaching new heights.

Growing up in the small town of Uralsk, Temirlan dreamed of flying beyond the horizon. Years of hard work followed — studying at the Civil Aviation Academy, working on the airport ramp, and completing cadet training in Spain and France. Today, he flies Airbus aircraft across Kazakhstan and beyond.

Temirlan shares how perseverance, dedication, and a spark of ambition lifted him into the cockpit. His story reflects how Kazakhstan’s aviation industry supports young talent and inspires the next generation of pilots to aim high.
