Bridalwear dominated the catwalk at Pakistan Fashion week in Karachi with top designers such as Obaid Sheikh showing his latest Husan Ara collection.
In his menswear collection there was a black and white colour palette featuring trousers and long kurtas.
For women the theme was a rich gothic palette mixing colours like maroon, black and gold. Styles he originally developed since being Chief Designer for fashion icon Junaid Jamshed.
Lahore based Saira Rizwan also showed off her collection comprising mixed traditional embroidery motifs with some 3D printed floral embellishments.
Now in its tenth year as a high end luxury brand, Rizwan aims to blend traditional and contemporary elements for the modern Pakistani woman.
