It is no surprise that Italian design is a feature in Dubai.

Sixteen Italian companies
represent the country, which exports hundreds of millions of euros of design products to the United Arab Emirates.

Gianpaolo Bruno is the Italian trade commissioner to UAE:
“The locals really appreciate the quality, the style, the elegance of our designers both small and large companies. So we are here to invest in promotion.”

Design Week Dubai, is an exhibition of cutting edge design with technical and artistic excellence.

‘Manifesto Design’ works with carpets made from banana material.

Their goal is the exclusive use of natural elements processed in the least invasive manner possible.

Euronews correspondent Rita Del Prete is in Dubai: “Italian design has combined with the UAE culture. Marble mosaics, like those of centuries-long tradition, are decorating both the Gallery of the Cathedral of Milan and the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.”
