North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un has arrived in Beijing for unannounced talks with China's President Xi Jinping.

Kim's green and yellow bulletproof train arrived in the Chinese capital for what will be his fourth meeting with President Xi.

The train, consisting of 20 to 25 cars - most of which have blacked-out windows - was pulled by two locomotives into Beijing’s north station on what is widely believed to be Mr Kim’s 35th birthday.

The North Korean leader is accompanied by his wife Ri Sol Ju, as well as senior officials including negotiator Kim Yong Chol and Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho.

A long motorcade whisked Kim Jong-Un away in a convoy including motorcycle escorts, reserved for state leaders.

Invited by President Xi Jinping just days after Kim warned the US that if sanctions remained, he may take another course. China is North Korea’s most important ally. Providing the bulk of both North Korea’s diplomatic support, trade and aid.

Two of Kim’s earlier visits last year came shortly before historic summits with both South Korea's Moon Jae-In and US President Donald Trump.

Chinese news agency Xinhua reported that Kim will remain in the country until Thursday.
