Protesters marched against a World Trade Organization meeting being held in the Argentinian capital.
Minor scuffles broke out at a protest in Buenos Aires as some 2,500 people marched against the 11th World Trade Organization (WTO) ministerial conference
Local media report tear gas was fired to disperse the demonstrators when riots erupted at the end a peaceful rally. Six people are said to have been detained.
It came after Argentina reportedly banned more than 60 activists from the WTO meeting amid fears of protests about the potential downsides of globalisation.
