A man has been arrested in Paris after attacking a soldier with a knife. No injuries were reported. The attack took place at the Châtelet metro stop in the centre of the French capital.
The soldier was one of thousands deployed in streets across French cities and near sensitive locations as part of the anti-terrorism ‘Opération Sentinelle’.
