Tiger Woods, the former world No 1 golfer, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Florida.

Police stopped him around 3am local time in the town of Jupiter, near one of his homes, a spokeswoman said.

The 41-year-old last week said he had no plans to retire from sport despite his fourth back surgery operation in three years.
