Police in Florida have released images of Tiger Woods as he struggles with his soberity test prior to his arrest for driving under the influence.

Officers discovered the champion golfer asleep at the wheel of his Mercedes in the early hours of Monday.

His vehicle had two flat tyres, minor scuffs and broken rear light.

Woods tested negative for alcohol and explained his behaviour was a result of a bad reaction to prescription drugs following back surgery.

The 41-year-old has undergone a difficult few years including repeated back surgery and problems in his private life.
