It happened at the Cameo Night Club in Cincinnati in the state of Ohio.

Local media say at least 15 people were shot at about 1am local time. Several are said to have life-threatening injuries.
It is thought hundreds of people were inside the nightclub at the time of the shooting.
Cincinnati Police says there are no indications so far that the shooting is terrorism-related.
