The authorities in central Serbia have declared an “emergency” after extensive flooding in the region.

Rain swollen rivers have broken their banks, inundating dozens of houses, farmland and roads.

Officials have warned of possible landslides and road blockades from falling rocks. The floods have caused power cuts in some areas.
