A jewellery heist at a Cartier boutique in Paris ended with two gunmen surrendering to Police after a standoff.

The assailants initially fled from the shop in a chase across the Seine River, ran into a hair salon where they took the manager hostage.
After two hours they gave up and the stolen jewels were recovered.
