Another voyage of the Arctic group of the Northern Fleet across the seas of the Arctic Ocean has begun.
The voyage will take place under the flag of the Deputy Commander of the Northern Fleet, Vice Admiral Oleg Golubev.
During this voyage, the Northern Fleet ships will traditionally conduct a series of exercises to ensure the safety of maritime navigation and other types of maritime economic activity of the Russian Federation in the Arctic zone, as well as to defend Russia’s island and continental territories in the Arctic.
