The Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros, on the Greek island in the Cyclades, is exclusively for those over the age of 13.

With some 227 inhabited islands, you could spend a lifetime visiting Greece and never see it all.

But if you need help deciding on which island to visit next, might we suggest Paros, where a gorgeous new property from Hyatt has just opened?

Taking its name from the famed ancient marble inscription recording Greek history and mythology, the Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros has just 50 rooms – each of which has either a private pool or a Jacuzzi.

“Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros is a place that moves to the rhythm of the island, unhurried, generous and deeply rooted in the story of Paros,” Nikos Koutroumanidis, the hotel’s general manager, said.

“We have worked to create a sanctuary that honours this extraordinary setting while offering every comfort our guests deserve.”

What to expect at the Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros

Designed by Makridis Associates, the property, which is exclusively for those aged 13 and above, has a palette of soft neutrals and warm earth tones inspired by Paros marble.

One of the hotel’s highlights is the 120-square-metre Nipson Spa, which has a fitness centre, two single-sex saunas, a double treatment room, and a large outdoor pool.

On the dining front, the hotel’s signature restaurant NAAO is open for all-day dining with a focus on local recipes and seasonal dishes.

The day begins with freshly baked breads, herbs, olive oil, honey and regional cheeses, and ends with plates prepared using Cycladic techniques, such as curing, sun drying and grilling, paired with wine from Paros and the wider Cyclades.

Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros is located in the village of Kampos, a 20-minute drive from Parikia Port. Ferries take around three hours from Athens.

Paros Airport is just a 10-minute drive away, and the airport is served by domestic routes from Athens, Thessaloniki and Heraklion. Avanti Air offers seasonal charter flights from Klagenfurt and Graz in Austria.
