Tune in to Euronews' new flagship morning programme, Europe Today, at 8 am Brussels time. In just 15 minutes, we bring you up to speed on the biggest news of the day.

At a meeting in the Hague, 35 countries signed up to an international commission to compensate Ukraine for hundreds of billions of dollars in damage from Russia's ongoing war. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s president Zelenksyy says proposals negotiated with US officials in Berlin this week to end Russia’s war in Ukraine could be finalised within days. For more, our Ukraine correspondent Sasha Vakulina joins the studio.

Ending Russia’s war in Ukraine is top of the wish list of MEPs meeting this week in Strasbourg and that is exactly where we will go to. Live from the European Parliament, our EU Editor Maria Tadeo interviews European Commissioner for Energy and Housing Dan Jørgensen.

Later on, we will be joined for a live interview in our studio by the President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani. Elected on a promise to tackle corruption and normalise relations between Kosovo and Serbia, President Osmani has been in power since 2021 and is in Brussels today for the EU Western Balkans summit.

Finally, and as Brussels rolls out today the red carpet for aspiring EU members precisely from the Western Balkans, our Jakub Janas takes a look at European attitudes towards expansion.
