The European Commissioner for Economics Pierre Moscovici is in Athens for two days to check in with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and on progress on the countrys cash for reforms programme. The visit comes ahead of a crucial vote in the Greek parliament on unpopular reforms and just days before EU finance ministers meet in Brussels to decide if Greece efforts merit a 2 billion euro lifeline.

He says that despite the Greek governments promise to honor commitments on time, international creditors are sceptical about the pace and depth of reforms.
