Ximo Puig, President of the Valencian government:
I think there should be a common European policy with regards to everything that involves the implementation of smart cities; everything that this new ecosystem means. Just like a pack for communitarian agricultural policy exists, we could have a pack for innovation. In this respect, we are currently trying to correlate all of the initiatives by different companies with a common line of argumentation that has to do with processes, like now with the agency for innovation but in the end, this needs to reach company cultures and the culture of our citizens. To try to bring theory into practice and try to do it in an ordered way so that everyone, the population and all of the companies participating reach this common goal.
