The city of Jerusalem hosted the largest gathering in its history this week. Monarchs, presidents and prime ministers gathered to speak out against the rise of anti-semitism and to recall the liberation of Auschwitz.

Europe has seen a spike of anti-semitism recently – some even say the face of anti-semitism hasn't been as ugly as it is today, 75 years after the defeat of Nazism.

Anti-semitism has shown a remarkable ability to reinvent itself and to re-emerge time and time again.
