The much-travelled Carlos Tevez has quit the Chinese football league and has gone home, to his first club Boca Juniors.

It will be his third stint at the Argentine club, where he made his name before going to Corinthians in Brazil, then West Ham and the two Manchester sides in the premier league. He then spent two yearsin Juventus before cashing in for big Chinese money.

He won the Chinese cup with Shanghai but has never looked settled in China and he was failing to catch the national selectors' eye. Ahead of the world cup, this may have hve spurred his move.
