Jupp Heynckes is back at Bayern and sounding up for the challenge. He was appointed to manage the Munich side until the end of the season, after the sacking of Carlo Ancelotti in September, 2017.
Three-time former coach Jupp Heynckes seemed confident as he officially stepped into the manager’s boots at Munich. The 72-year-old last left the club on a high in 2013 after guiding Bayern Munich to the Champions League, Bundesliga and German Cup treble.
At the time, he said he wouldn’t coach in the German league again.
He’ll have to hit the ground running; Bayern host FC Freiburg on Saturday (October 14).
