One guest, a French national, is still missing.

Among the dead from Sunday’s attack was a Portuguese soldier working with the EU military training mission, and a Malian soldier.

Mali’s security ministry had earlier identified one of the victims as French-Gabonese. Another victim was Cameroonian and one had yet to be identified.

The attackers also took two dozen hostages, who were released by the Malian special forces.
