European commission shows solidarity with the British people

The EU commission has paid tribute to the victims of the Manchester attack with a 1-minute silence.

“Today, we mourn with the British people. I’m sure that I speak for all of us as European citizens when I say that our thoughts today are with the victims of Monday’s attacks in Manchester and with their families, announced European Commissioner for for Bidget and Human Resources, Günther Oettinger. “Please join with the President and us in marking a minute’s silence.”

The commission’s Pesident, Jean Claude Juncker and Vice President Federica Mogherini were among those honouring the victims in solidarity with the British people.
